Chloe x Cash puppies 9/8/23. Chloe's pups arrived without any issues starting at about 3:30am and finishing delivery by 6:30am. 2 girls, 6 boys. We name the pups as a tribute to the late Jimmy Buffett who passed away Sept. 1 2023: Margarita, Juicy Fruit, Sailor, Fins, Cheeseburger, Monday, Harbor, Pirate. We will post more pics as puppies mature.
Chloe x Bailey Dec. 13, 2022. AKC Golden Retrievers. Chloe labored for a short time, producing 2 pups and everything seemed to be 'just like it should be' when her laboring became non-productive. After some time, and trying several things to help, we transported Chloe to a local emergency hospital and the x-ray showed a legitimately 'stuck' puppy. During the emergency c-section, the vet was unable to save the 'stuck' puppy, but all the rest were delivered beautifully, resulting in 10 beautiful pups. A week later, we named the puppies with a Bible theme inspired by the 'reason for the season' . Boys: Moses, Noah, Malachi, Boaz, Isaac, Zaccheaus. Girls: Mary, Martha, Ruth, Naomi. Pups currently reside in: Greensboro, Greensboro, Greensboro, Winston-Salem, Raleigh, VA, MD, NY.
As of Feb. 16, 2023 2 pups are still with us. We look forward to their vet appointment on Feb. 20th for their next booster, and exam. Zaccheaus has quite a story - he was tiny and unable to suck with strength to feed himself (otherwise beautiful and looked as healthy as all the pups). We tube fed him for 4 weeks, around the clock until the time he could lap milk, then puppy mush, and slowly hard kibble which he loves when enhanced with a bit of soft canned food. He is 9 weeks old now and growing on a steady basis and displays appropriate development (cutest thing ever!!!). Martha has been the most entertaining and communicative of the litter. She is super curious and confident and is the best cuddler ever! At 6 weeks, she had a level one heart murmur - very faint 'innocent' and we are eager to have it rechecked on Monday, as many times these disappear by 12 weeks. We are in no rush to place these precious babies, but will consider their departure when we find just the right situation.
